Escape to the peaceful beauty of French Lake Resort in northern Wisconsin, where lakeside relaxation, outdoor adventure, and family fun come together. Listen to the call of loons nesting in the tranquil bay, watch deer drinking along the shoreline, and look overhead for bald eagles soaring across the sky. You may even catch a glimpse of a black bear. Surrounded by beautiful Wisconsin wilderness, French Lake offers an authentic Up North getaway filled with nature and wildlife.

Spring-fed French Lake spans 92 acres and offers excellent fishing for Musky, Walleye, Bass, and Panfish. For even more water to explore, the 19,000-acre Turtle-Flambeau Flowage is just four miles down the road via Springstead Landing.

You can bring your own boat or launch from our private concrete boat ramp, with docking available on your own private pier right outside your cabin. Each cabin also includes a 14-foot boat for your use, with motors and additional boats available for rent. A convenient fish-cleaning house is available for guests as well.

French Lake Resort features three rustic yet comfortable lakeside cabins and a charming log cabin, all thoughtfully appointed with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Situated directly on the water, the cabins provide easy lake access and private outdoor spaces to enjoy the beauty of Wisconsin’s northwoods.

Surrounded by more than 20 acres of beautiful birch trees, the resort offers plenty of open space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Bring bocce balls, baseball gloves, or a good book and enjoy the sunshine. Guests can also enjoy our sandy beach, swim raft, and children’s playground. Kayaks, a canoe, and paddleboat are available free of charge for our guests.
